To recap, the Gracie’s eat one cooked meal and three fruit meals on a day. Each meal is served every 5 hours. Because they believe that is how long it takes to digest every meal.

Carrot Juice, Corn Soup, Cheese Corn Quesadillas
Per Gracie Diet they use the Champion juicer to make their own carrot juice. Wash and peel the carrots. (Preferably refrigerated carrots so the juice will be cold.) Cut the ends and run them thru the juicer. Run the carrot juice thru a very fine strainer, like the Gracie juice bag, before serving. Rose will sometimes buy the organic carrot juice from Trader Joe’s.
The cheese quesadillas are made from corn tortillas and Monterey Jack cheese. In large frying pan on medium high heat, place corn tortillas flat. Sprinkle graded Monterey Jack cheese over half of the tortilla. When the cheese is melted, fold the tortillas and continue cooking until they are golden brown and crisp. Remove from pan and eat.
For the corn soup, start with a large one-pound bag of frozen kernel corn. Rose’s grandfather used raw corn in husks. She remembers shucking ears and ears of corn. Rose runs organic defrosted corn through the champion juicer. Heat the juice from the corn in a deep pot on medium heat. The soup is done once it starts to boil. Remove from heat; add a little olive oil and salt and Enjoy!
