Our friend and Nova Uniao’s Black Belt Randy Malacas is in Korea, serving the US and training soldiers. He writes us: “The training in Korea has been wonderful. John Frankl has a few schools in Seoul and I’ve been training Soldiers at a camp further up north.” Malacas is an ambassador of BJJ and has a great attitude while at the same time being super technical and tough!

5th Annual LX Jiu-Jitsu Associaton Gathering: Sunday November 7th

The summer is almost over already, before we realize it, November will be around the corner and it will be time for us all to come together and celebrate at our 5th Annual Association Gathering. Every year we spend time thinking on ways to improve the overall experience and we make sure to fine tune the things that work well and correct or discard the things that don’t. This year our guests will enjoy a faster check in time, more comfortable eating accommodations and many more improvements to be revealed soon. In the mean time check out our blog. 2nd Ohio BJJ & Submission Grappling State Championships

Pickerington, OH – Saturday, October 30th

We are less than 4 weeks away from one of the most anticipated Jiu-Jitsu & Grappling competitions in the region…The 2nd Ohio BJJ & Grappling State Championships! This will likely be our LARGEST competition of 2010!

In addition to the OGC “Champions” award presentation, we have to added both a Gi & No-Gi Absolute division! These divisions will only be open to those competitors that finish 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place in any of the Adult male Gi & No-Gi divisions. Besides the title of “ABSOLUTE CHAMPION”, the winners will receive a custom award.

Ok, so you have 4 weeks left to train…lets make this the most competitive OGC ever!
